On Tuesday we visited La Jolla. There is a beach there that used to be the children's beach. The seals have taken it over. The seals have caused quite the controvery. Animal rights activists have protested the use of this beach. There are signs posted warning that bacteria levels in the water are unsafe and to leave the seals alone. The bottom of the sign says that the beach is open for swimming. Yuck!
